Paul & Martin spent the day at City Hall in Cardiff today, filming with the good guys and gals from Genero. It’s a great location & looking at the footage that’s currently being loaded onto the edit suite, hopefully the clients will be happy with the finished film 🙂
What’s the difference between a cameraman & a photographer?
Well, it’s obviously the clothes! I am in my usual blacks so I blend into the background, Paul needed to go a dressier route.. Paul and I are working for the guys at Genero tonight for Heineken in the Cardiff Arms Park. It’s an evening to look forward to Sunday’s clash between Wales and England (and as I was lucky …

Here is the first clip from Sunday’s shoot.. [wpvideo ti8ETTEu] It was the anniversary concert to celebrate Monmouth Schools’ 400th birthday at the Wales Millennium Centre – Paul, Scott and myself had a fantastic shoot in a wonderful location. More stills here:
‘Project K’ Ceremony
Today I was at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff to help celebrate the closing ceremony of ‘Project K’ 2013. 10 songs of Peace, 10 schools and roughly 300 children, all benefitting from workshops provided by the Nathan Timothy Foundation. None of this would have been possible if it were not for the generosity of so many of you, helping to support our …
Work hard, play hard
After a week of late nights and deadlines, and then 700 miles in three days to meet up with customers – tonight was time to relax and chill out. I’ve always been a fan of Eddie Izzard & my wonderful fiancée bought me tickets for my birthday to see him at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. I love Eddie’s bonkers …
Judgment Day
By now you probably know that we like rugby here at red90. Today is a good day, as our work with the Gwent Dragons means that we’ve got a hospitality suite at the Millennium Stadium to watch two great local derbies back to back – ‘Judgment Day’. It’s great to bring family, friends and customers together for a great day …
Zzzzz…
So. Yesterday was long. Very long. We set off at 5.45am, got home from Anglesey at 10pm & then had to digitise the footage until midnight. (The only downside of P2 cameras). Today started at 6am when I finished off the artwork for our friends at Whitemoor Lakes, then I delivered a CD ROM to the guys at PHW, before …
Tomorrow will be epic!
From time to time we have to do crazy things here in red90 land. Tomorrow is one of those days.. As you know, we’ve been pretty busy recently working with our friends at Bron Afon Community Housing as well as on the new contract that we won with Public Health Wales. I am currently editing a piece for SKY (7.24pm …
Big day, lots of meetings
So today finds us at the Best Western hotel in central Cardiff at the initial stake holder pre-production meeting for the series of films we’ve been commissioned to make for Public Health Wales. There are people from all over Wales here, as well as people from HSE & ACAS. It’s a big day for us & a great start to …
Catching up with old friends
Today finds me freelancing for my friends at Genero (the guys I went to Switzerland with earlier in the year). I’m filming an awards ceremony as part of their live event crew at the SWALEC Stadium. The beauty of working in the media is the variety of work we get to do and today is no exception. Far from being …
