Guest vs Photographer

I have to be honest here, this wedding was a little easier to shoot than most due to the fact that the Bride is my sister in law. I was technically a guest too, but it’s pretty hard to not be a photographer first and guest second in these situations. The guys were really cool and didn’t want me to spend all day working, but I felt I still had a job to do, and it’s much easier to separate the two.

I love the images we were able to create in the grounds of the Cwrt Bleddyn. I don’t know if it was easier or harder for them to be directed by me, but judging by how they look together in the photographs, I doubt they cared that I was there at all.

They looked amazing together – especially the dancing!  From the perspective of both guest and photographer they had an incredible wedding day and both of me wish them the very best for the future.
