OK, so I promised you some big news.
As of today red90 has a new member of the crew, and a whole new dimension to the business – Lee Hallett is now heading up our specialist graphics and animation department!
Lee is a creative visual designer (someone who makes pretty pictures) who joins the red90 team with over 17 years experience designing and producing high end graphics and effects for film, TV, commercials and corporate productions. His in-depth knowledge of the industry, and the specialist area of graphics and digital imaging, along with his extensive experience of both location and studio based shooting will be a huge asset to our productions. More importantly our ability to deliver the highest quality video with the most creative freedom and visual impact has just taken on a new dimension (a 3D one actually).
With over a decade at the BBC, and years of experience in the independent sector, Lee has headed up graphics and effects on such prestigous programmes such as Human Planet, Young Dracula and Live Election night coverage and he has designed titles, key sequences and effects for programmes such as Dr Who, Sarah Jane Adventures, Time Team, Being Human, Disney’s Tales of Friendship, Stella and ScrumV.
Our aim is to bring the production values and quality of broadcast animation and graphics to the commercial sector in the same cost effective way red90 has been making films for the last ten years. So whether you are looking for a title sequence for an awards ceremony, or a full 3D animated walkthrough of a new building – the sky is no longer the limit (well he did work on Dr Who!).
Our job is all about making films, so we’re currently working on our new showreel – keep an eye out in the next month or so and you’ll see for yourselves what is possible. We’re just so excited about the new addition to the team I couldn’t wait to tell you the news!
