We’ve spent a lot of the last two years filming the building of Llanwern High School for Newport City Council.
The main school build was finished last year & the pupils have been enjoying their fantastic new buildings for 12 months now. Sadly, due to the horrendous weather that the UK has endured over the winter and on into the spring, the playing fields have lagged well past the original delivery date through no fault of anyone.
Anyway, now that the sun has finally put in an appearance I thought it was time to get across and see what was happening. Great tiling on my part, as the workmen were well underway installing the drainage and water systems. Amazing automated systems controlled by professionals made the whole thing look easy.
I love my job, I get to see so many things that most people wouldn’t. Which is why I am a mine of useless information & my seven year old son thinks I know everything!
