Some days things just go right, some days all the stars align, all your ducks are in a row; today was just great.
I’ve posted about filming at the Newport Gwent Dragons rugby team over the last few months & today was the start of a very exciting partnership. red90 is working with the guys at the club to produce ‘DragonsTV’ – an Internet TV channel which will be available to view through the Dragon’s website. It’ll feature interviews with the players, coaching staff, sponsors, management along with behind the scenes views of what it takes to run the club, including the great charity work that the players do & tons of fun stuff too..
SKY TV were broadcasting the Dragon’s match against Northampton and a huge 24m2 screen had been erected at the ground. I was asked on Friday to produce a 2 minute trailer to launch the programme – this didn’t leave me much time, but I think it holds together pretty well. I’ve recorded the screen to show how big it was, before a sneak preview of the trailer. Feedback that I got from some of the 5300+ people in the ground when it was shown was very positive, which bodes well for the future. As huge rugby fans Red90 are really happy to work with Newport Gwent Dragons and I can’t wait to produce some great pieces over the rest of the season.
