So, back from holidays and back to earth with a bang. I’ve been pretty lax recently in the VLOG department – mainly due to the fact that most of the work has been editing & not the most visual stuff to show you.
HOWEVER, this will be rectified in spades this week as we have not one, but two fantastic shoots ahead of us. Sunday sees us heading off to our friends at Whitemoor Lakes in the midlands to shoot a promo at their brilliant activity centre. This shoot has been postponed a few times this year because of the weather, but fingers crossed we will be there & will cover what promises to be a fun shoot. We’ve worked with the guys at Whitemoor several times over the last ten years, from various promo films at the Pioneer Centre, through to filming their HQ in Northampton. Whitemoor Lakes is a brilliant facility & the whole crew is looking forward to seeing it in person, the closest I’ve been so far is the 3D computer model we made for them 3 years ago, so it’ll be great to see it in the flesh!
Then on Thursday we head further north to the final shoot of the year on the epic Taste The Wild programme. For this segment of the programme we join Chris on a pheasant shoot in Leicester – from the photos of the location I have seen, it is going to be another corker!! You could lift out the scenery & drop it straight into a Sherlock Holmes novel. I hope I can do it justice & translate the natural beauty onto film.
We’ll be VLOGGING both road trips extensively, trying out on the spot updates with the iPhone, as well as a more comprehensive behind the scenes look on the trusty 550d. The highlight is going to be watching Paul on the abseil tower with the GoPro on the new chest harness.. Have gear, will film!
Keep an eye out, plenty of new VLOGs soon!!
