I know I am a self confessed Apple fan, but more than that – I just love technology in general. I knew that the autumn was going to be a busy time, tight deadlines and schedules; but as my last blog said, family time is important too.
I had one last job to complete before I could rest up entirely here in Cornwall with my family & that was to upload the player profile films we shot for the Gwent Dragons new website last week.
Well, thanks to my trusty MacBook Pro & the genius of YouSendIt, the files are currently uploading to the web designers as I am sat having a coffee whilst watching my son & his friend in the swimming pool. The upload will take about 15 minutes & then I am free for the whole week, with aquariums, speedboat rides and lots of other fun stuff beckoning..
Some people would argue that being on holiday should mean that no work is done at all – but in this post-recession era, I’m pretty sure most small business owners will tell you that you have to work when it’s there. I’m just lucky that I can do mine pretty much anywhere & Cornwall seems a pretty fine place to do it to me.
