This is the last blog I will make from my tired old iPhone 3Gs. It’s been a constant companion over the last few years. We’ve seen good times and bad; the poor old thing has been dropped, cursed at and even dunked into a waterfall splash pool – the closest it got to complaining was its intermittent fault of forgetting it was a phone & turning off all it’s facilities without showing me. It became the worlds most expensive digital clock..
As of today, and thanks to a nice man at O2 business (and my endless patience to wait to get through), I will be the proud owner of a shiny new white iPhone 5. 32Gb of pure loveliness – which I (like millions of others across the globe) am convinced will make my life better, make me more organised & just generally make me a better person!
Well, not that I buy into the marketing (much), but what it will mean for my blogging is that the camera is much better & I’ll now even be able to shoot full HD movies on the phone & upload them directly rather than waiting for when I get back to the office. So expect some more ‘on the spot’ reports as well as just photos.
Am I an Apple fan? Hmm.. I think the iPhone, iPad, iMac, MacBook Pro & G5 tower that I use on a daily basis says I am. Other people might just call me a geek.
Anyway. Reviews of the phone to follow after I get my greasy hands on it later!
